JOB TITLE:

Principal: Sales Planning and Support

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Principal: Sales Planning and Support is a pivotal role within Cellulant, focusing on the operationalization of strategic sales plans, ensuring their efficient execution, and driving revenue growth through meticulous planning and support. This role demands a proactive individual capable of establishing robust systems and processes to track, organize, and manage sales activities effectively. They will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure strategies are executed flawlessly, leading to increased profitability and market expansion across Africa

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement systems and processes for the operationalization of sales strategies, ensuring their effective execution across the board.
  • Strategy Tracking: Rigorously monitor and evaluate the implementation of sales plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet and exceed targets.
  • Profitability Planning: Conduct detailed profitability analyses and planning, identifying and leveraging opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Opportunity Sizing & Execution Planning: Size up sales opportunities meticulously and plan their execution, ensuring alignment with Cellulant’s strategic objectives.
  • Performance Reporting: Generate insightful reports on the performance of sales initiatives, focusing on key metrics, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
  • Project Support & Coordination: Spearhead project initiatives within the sales domain, coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Budget Oversight: Oversee the budgeting process for sales planning and execution, ensuring fiscal discipline and alignment with financial goals.
  • Process Optimization: Continually seek and implement improvements in sales processes and operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central communication hub for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating seamless information flow and collaboration.
  • Team Empowerment: Support and empower team members, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and excellence

      QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

      Experience Level:

      A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales planning, strategy execution, or a similar role, with a proven track record of operational excellence and strategic impact.

      Desirable Experience:

      • Exceptional ability in establishing and managing systems and processes for sales operational excellence.
      • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, profitability analysis, and execution planning in a sales context.
      • Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
      • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic sales goals.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with sales and business operation software.
      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are highly advantageous.
